Call for Papers: China-Arab Science and Technology Forum

China-Arab Science and Technology Forum is a comprehensive academic journal in science and technology published by the China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center. It is distributed publicly in China and worldwide. The China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center is a national-level platform established in response to the significant initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Sixth Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum. It is dedicated to advancing scientific and technological cooperation and technology transfer between China and Arab nations. This journal aims to provide an exchange platform for innovation entities worldwide, facilitating the sharing of experiences, methodologies, exemplary cases, and practical outcomes in international scientific cooperation, research and technology transfer. It seeks to promote pragmatic exchanges and efficient collaboration in the science and technology domain between China and Arab countries. We cordially invite experts and scholars to actively submit manuscripts presenting research outcomes of significant academic value and practical guidance.

I. Columns

(1) The Belt and Road Initiative column focuses on practical pathways, optimization strategies, and policy recommendations for China-Arab science and technology cooperation under the Belt and Road framework, including studies on innovative cooperation models and cross-border resource integration.

(2) The “Regional Innovation Development” column focuses on shared experiences and practical cases in scientific and technological innovation between China and Arab countries or within specific regions, including research and exploration in building regional innovation systems, integrating innovation resources and cultivating innovation ecosystems.

(3) The “Science, Technology, and Industry” column highlights experiences, practices, outcomes, and pathways of leveraging science and technology to empower specific industrial sectors and drive transformation and upgrading, including the application of cutting-edge technologies in industries, the construction of industrial innovation models, and collaborative innovation along industrial chains.

(4) The “Technology Transfer and Commercialization” column focuses on typical cases of technology commercialization in specific fields to showcase promising technological achievements, including research and practical cases in industry-academia-research collaboration and technology transfer.

(5) The “Science, Technology, and Education” column highlights practical pathways, experience and approaches for the integrated development and mutual advancement of science, technology and education, including new applied technologies in education and the optimization of talent cultivation models through technological means.

(6) The “Science, Technology, and Law” column highlights research addressing novel legal issues arising from cutting-edge technological developments. It encompasses topics such as building relevant legal frameworks, refining institutional regulations, providing legal safeguards for cross-border technological cooperation and mitigating risks associated with new technology applications.

II. Submission Requirements

(1) Submissions shall present distinct viewpoints with novel perspectives, feature clear logic and thorough argumentation, and employ standardized written language. Any form of academic misconduct is strictly prohibited.

(2) Submissions shall be in English. All specific requirements below apply to English manuscripts.

(3) Titles shall accurately summarize the papers core content, with a minimum of 30 characters. Subtitles may be added as needed.

(4) Author names appear below the title. Full institutional affiliation, country/region, and postal code are provided in parentheses. Author bios shall also be provided in the following format: Name (Year of Birth—), Gender, Title, Degree, Research Field.

(5) Provide an abstract of approximately 450 characters written in the third person. It should include the research objectives, methods, results, or conclusions, concisely summarizing the papers core arguments. Additionally, provide 3–5 keywords.

(6) Manuscripts should be between 10,000 and 15,000 characters. Use the following hierarchical structure for headings: “1, 1.1, 1.1.1...”

(7) References shall be directly cited and reflect recent research developments in the field. Please do not cite unpublished materials. Ensure all citation information is accurate. Complete bibliographic entries are required. Common formats are as follows:

1. Journal: Author. Publication year. Article title [J]. Journal name, Volume (Issue): Page range.

2. Book: Author. Publication year. Book title [M]. Publication location: Publisher: Page range.

3. Thesis: Author. Year of preservation. Thesis title [D]. Preservation location: Preserving institution: Page range.

4. Electronic Documents: Author. Publication Year (/Modification Date) [Citation Date]. Title [Document Type/Carrier Type]. Publication Location: Publisher, Access Path.

(8) Submission implies the authors consent to the editorial office making textual revisions, deletions, and formatting adjustments to the manuscript. If you do not agree to any modifications, please indicate this in the manuscript notes.

III. Submission Methods

(1) Email Submission. Send electronic documents (Word 2007 or earlier versions) to editorial department email:zakjlt@casttc.org. Both the email subject and attachment title should be: Submission + “Paper Title” + Author Name.

(2) Upon acceptance, authors will receive an immediate notification. If no response is received from this journal within three months of submission, the author may freely dispose of the manuscript without further notice. This journal does not charge any fees for manuscript acceptance or publication.
