The traction transformers supporting the rapid development of the country’s high-speed railway network, the aluminum alloy sleeper beams used on the high-speed Fuxing trains, the instrument control valves of China's deep-sea drilling platforms, and the nation's first digitalized intelligent factory were all born in Ningxia Hui autonomous region. Moreover, the world's first intelligent control scraper conveyor from Ningxia has filled a global gap; the world's first 10,000-ton foundry 3D printing intelligent factory from Ningxia has driven the foundry industry into the era of intelligence. All of these first-rate products in the manufacturing industry come from this region.

 

The equipment manufacturing industry is the heart of the industry and the lifeline of the national economy. In the past, Ningxia bathed in the celebratory glory of the founding of New China. The vigorous "First Five-Year Plan" saw a large number of top domestic equipment manufacturing enterprises such as Xibei Bearing, Ningxia Yinchuan Dahe CNC Machine Co, Northwest Coal Machine, and Wuzhong Instrument, carry the national strategic mission of moving to the west region, laying a solid foundation for the industrial development of Ningxia. The thriving coal deep-processing industry, the enormous potential of the electricity power market, and the broad prospects of the new materials industry in Ningxia also provide a broad market space for the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry. Ningxia Wear Casting, driven by technological innovation, has developed from a small company with just a few people to an industry leader. It has developed over 200 types of products, with 32 patents, forming five main categories of leading products: coal mining machinery components, automotive components, ultra-high-voltage transmission and transformation components, industrial robots, and key components for China's standard electric multiple unit (EMU) trains.

 

Ningxia Wear Casting has developed the world's first super heavy-duty scraper conveyor groove with a width of 1,400 millimeters and internationally leading technical indicators. The aluminum alloy sleeper beams for China’s standard EMU trains, developed by the company, serve as trial vehicle components for the new type of EMU by CRRC Corporation Limited, breaking the cycle in which China’s high-speed EMU sleeper technology was entirely dependent on imports. Additionally, the company has tailored a fully cast battery tray for new energy vehicles, which is 10 kilograms lighter than the commonly used welded trays in the industry and shows excellent performance, offering potential for new breakthroughs in the localization of new energy vehicle components in China.

Ningxia Tiandi Benniu Industrial Group is one of the largest domestic manufacturers specializing in the research and development of scraper conveyor equipment. The company has formed a diversified industrial chain focusing on complete sets of scraper conveyor equipment, gear reducers, and coal mining equipment maintenance. In 2022, it successfully became a nationally recognized demonstration enterprise as a single industry champion in the manufacturing sector.

 

Tiandi Benniu has made breakthroughs by deeply integrating modern information technology with advanced manufacturing, continuously overcoming technological barriers. In 2010, it developed the first domestically produced variable frequency drive scraper conveyor, enabling the automated operation of coal mining equipment. In 2014, it successfully developed the world's first intelligent control scraper conveyor, marking its entry into the realm of intelligent manufacturing. Subsequently, a series of innovative products emerged, including the world's first "N00 method" scraper conveyor, the first domestically produced high-capacity scraper conveyor for soft and thick coal seams, intelligent comprehensive mining and conveying equipment with an annual output of 20 million tons, and the first domestically produced ultra-long intelligent scraper conveyor system. In 2023, the company achieved a breakthrough by overcoming technological bottlenecks for intelligent scraper conveyor equipment in ultra-thick coal seam comprehensive mining operations, completing the development of complete sets of equipment, and achieving a conveying capacity exceeding 8,000 tons per hour and a theoretical coal throughput of over 100 million tons, once again setting a new world record.

Yinchuan Weili Transmission has been deeply involved in the field of precision transmission for 20 years, attaching great importance to technological innovation, research and development. It has maintained a steady focus on industries such as wind power, solar thermal power, new energy vehicles, and construction machinery, and is steadfastly committed to providing precision transmission solutions for the wind power and other new energy industries. Established in 2000, L GMazak mainly produces and provides various types of high-end CNC machine tools. It is the first wholly-owned factory in China of the Yamazaki Mazak Corporation, a world-leading machine tool manufacturer, and has pioneered the establishment of the first digital network machine tool manufacturing factory in China. As one of Yamazaki Mazak's top 10 global production bases, L GMazak, together with Yamazaki Mazak (China) Co., Ltd. and Yamazaki Mazak Machine Tool (Liaoning) Co., Ltd., has formed a "one core, two wings" market structure in China, with its headquarters in Shanghai as the core.
