During the event, 500 advanced and applicable technological achievements were released for Arab states, and 13 cooperation agreements were successfully signed, injecting new momentum into ongoing China-Arab technology transfer and innovation collaboration.
As a core platform for China-Arab scientific and technological cooperation, the China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center gathered and ed 500 technological achievements from leading domestic institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an Jiaotong University, as well as enterprises and research institutes. These achievements, which span six major fields—green agriculture, ecological and environmental protection, high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, new materials and modern chemical engineering, artificial intelligence and digital information, and clean energy—are characterized by rapid implementation potential, scalability, and cross-regional applicability.
Additionally, the 13 cooperation agreements signed during the conference focused on three core dimensions: platform co-development, technology transformation, and talent services, forming a multi-faceted and multi-level collaborative matrix. According to reports, the China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center will establish sub-centers in Zhejiang, Beijing, and Shaanxi to create a nationwide collaborative network for China-Arab technological cooperation.
The Center also signed agreements with Kazakh National Agrarian University, Ningxia University, China Communication Services Saudi Company, and the Egyptian Youth Entrepreneurship Association, among others. These collaborations will deepen cooperation in areas such as modern agricultural development, Beidou navigation and smart applications, and youth innovation and entrepreneurship. Tsinghua University will jointly establish a laboratory with Higher National School of Artificial Intelligence of Algeria, while the Ningxia Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences will partner with Egypt’s National Research Centre to launch a joint laboratory on desertification prevention, supporting regional ecological governance innovation.
The conference also featured multiple thematic matchmaking sessions and field visits, providing a “one-stop” channel to connect the 500 technological achievements with end-users and investors in Arab countries, further amplifying the role of the China-Arab Expo as a platform for technology transfer.
