HBRC- Mission

We contribute to the management of the technical system of construction and housing in Egypt to reach the highest quality of various facilities in term of safe and economical facility through researches, technical consultations, codes, legislations and tests in our internationally accredited laboratories.

Establishment of (HBRC)

The Center (HBRC) was established in 1954 as a building Research Institute. In 2005, Republican Decrees No. 63 and 64 of 2005 were issued to Rename the Housing and Building Research Center to become The Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), and follows the Minister of Housing and Urban Communities and has its main headquarter in Cairo.
