    As a doctor of Electricity and Mechanics from Cairo University, he successively acted as Technical Advisor to the Egypt-China Joint Laboratory Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant, Head of the Nanotechnology Laboratory at the Electronics Research Institute (ERI), and Chairman of Egypt NARSS. He is dedicated to remote sensing satellites, system engineering and power subsystem design, renewable energy power system architecture, design and size optimization of PV hybrid system components, design and implementation of PV, solar energy, and wind power systems, hybrid system management and control, wired and wireless monitoring for PV plants, and PV grid-connected systems.
