    As Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Raw Materials Research and Development Council of Nigeria, he got the MBA (Financial Management) degree from the National Open University of Nigeria and a diploma in Agricultural Promotion from Ahmadu Bello University. He participated in several international trainings including project management training (Ghana, 2011), plant taxonomy and systematics training (Umudike, 2014), and international training in arboriculture (Costa Rica, 2003).
